Christiano Ronaldo has said his final goodbyes to his fellow players at Juventus before the training session on Friday.

Ronaldo has almost packed his belongings at the Juve’s Continassa training ground.

Manchester City is currently in talks to sign in Ronaldo after his agent Mendes told Juventus he is no longer willing to play for the club.

Ronaldo is in the final year of his contract in Turin, and any suitor will have to pay a €25 million (£21.3 million) transfer fee, which may be a huge stumbling block, especially given his £500,000-per-week salary at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus is yet to receive an official bid for Ronaldo. However, the deal with Man City has not concluded yet. This could give Juv an opportunity to resign. But the deal should be made before the closing windows of Tuesday.

Man City is willing to offer him a two-year contract with £12.8m-per-season (€15m).

Although he was not in the Man City plans for this summer, the club has been considering him after the club was unable to sign in England captain Harry Kane from Tottenham.

The 36-year-old was ruled out of the game against Udinese which ended in a draw, 2-2.

He wants to play at the top order for as long as possible. But not everyone from Man City is convinced that he is the player they need.

Christiano Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018 for £105m. So far he has scored 101 goals in 134 games.

He helped the club achieve two Serie A titles, one Coppa Italia crown, and two Italian Super Cups.

Juventus is also in talks to sign in Moise Kean from Everton, who scored 17 goals in 41 games while on loan at Paris-Saint Germain last season.
