The Sindh government has announced to reopen schools throughout the province on Monday, August 23.

The announcement was made after a meeting of the committee of the Department of Education by the provincial education minister, Sardar Shah.

The schools would resurrect with only 50% of students in appearance, while the educational institutes that have a full inoculation rate will be permitted a 100% student strength stated Shah.

A diverse technique should be accepted which does not damage the students’ education, the minister further stated that closing and reopening schools are not the explanation for the ongoing crises.

“One of the parents of a student will have to submit their NADRA-issued vaccination certificate to the school administration,” he said.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan neither knows about the constitution nor has he read it,” Shah stated while answering a question on the Single National Curriculum.

“In PTI’s manifesto, they had mentioned that they would enforce a single curriculum across the country — in democracy, decisions aren’t enforced, they are made through consultations.”
