Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi returned home to an affectionate welcome home surprise party arranged by his wife after leading the Rawalakot Hawks to their first KPL 2021 title victory.

His wife had planned a nice surprise for his return. In a video released by Shahid Afridi, the cricketer can be seen enjoying his return home with his children on the lawn outside his house, which has been decked with hundreds of rose petals.

Afridi can be seen standing behind his daughters, the youngest in his arms, beaming with delight at the surprise his wife had planned for him. In front of the cricketer, there is also a table packed with decorations.

He wrote, “Feels great to be back home. Thanks, begum for the lovely welcome.”

The Rawalakot Hawks won the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) final on Tuesday, defeating the Muzaffarabad Tigers by seven runs at the Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium.

After being set a 170-run goal, the Muzaffarabad Tigers were able to score 162 runs in 20 overs against the loss of seven wickets.

Zeeshan Ashraf of the Tigers had continued to lead, scoring 46 runs off 26 balls.
