Showbiz personalities react strongly to Lahore incident

Showbiz personalities have expressed grief and anger over the issue of abuse of a woman in Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore.

Actress Mahira Khan sarcastically condemned the incident and said that she was sorry, she had forgotten that it was her own fault, poor 400 people could not stop themselves.

 

Model and host Anusha Ashraf also expressed her anger and said that she thought that if a man in my country would harass her in public, 10 men would come to her rescue but in Lahore, she saw a woman being harassed by 400 men. Feeling bad.

 

Actress Aiza Khan posted a story on Instagram in which she wrote that stay safe at home, life is in danger, all this has been said so far because of Corona, it is a shame, it is a fear to stay safe now. Stay inside because your honour is at stake outside.

Actress Maryam Nafees wrote that she was not alone, she was in the daylight, she was in fully covered, she was in Muharram, the call to prayer was going on, even if all this was not happening, no one was allowed to do so.

Commenting on the incident, singer and actor Farhan Saeed said, “I am ashamed to be a part of this society. I am ashamed to be a man in this country, just as men are ashamed of their horrible deeds.”

Versatile actor Noman Ijaz said that he has been embarrassed since he heard about this incident. Are these people Pakistanis? It was an army of 400. They should be given exemplary punishment.
