The 2021, T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan will be held on October 24, Sunday in Dubai. The arch rivals are placed in the same group for 2021’s T20 World Cup, taking place in UAE and Oman.

“Yes, the arch-rivals will clash on October 24.” Says a BCCI source.

One more source was heard saying, “As of now, Sunday, October 24 looks the likely option as the first week’s Qualifying round matches starting October 17 will be held in Muscat, Oman. So, when the main round robin fixtures are played, it is better to start with an Indo-Pak game which will have the best TRP.”

ICCI announced the groups last month, the teams were to face off each other on the basis of their rankings until 20th March. The groups were chosen accordingly with the defending champions the West Indies pooled with, with previous champions England, South Africa and Australia.

2nd Group includes, Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Afghanistan the former champions.
