The Taliban has warned the U.S that a new strategy will be proclaimed if the US is unsuccessful to complete the process of withdrawal of people from Afghanistan by August 31.

This deadline was set by the Biden administration for the withdrawal of all American troops.

No postponement will be given for the withdrawal of foreign forces, stated Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the movement, addressing a press conference.

Life was coming to normal in the country but the condition was chaotic at the Kabul Airport where thousands of Afghan and foreign nationals are exasperating to flee the Taliban, he said.

The US should not encourage the Afghans to leave their homeland, saying they do not support such action, stated the Taliban.

Zabihullah Mujahid said “we are not in favor of allowing Afghans to leave”, as translated from Pashto to English by his translator.

He further stated that Americans were taking “Afghan experts” such as engineers out of the country.

“We need their expertise,” Mujahid said.

Furthermore adding that women would be able to return to work once the security situation is stable again.

After the Taliban warning that there will be consequences of not finishing the extraction by the deadline, the U.S troops have speed the evacuation process to get thousands of people out of Kabul.

President Biden has guaranteed to not change the time limit, but the burden is growing on him to discuss more time for the departures.
