Tony Ashai, a Kashmiri architect working in the United States, outlines the proposal to turn Daman-e-Koh into a prominent tourist attraction at the request of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Tony Ashai is a Srinagar-based Indian-American architect. Tony Ashai is also the President of Ashai Design Corporation.

The US-based Kashmiri architect tweeted, “I presented this as a concept to develop Damene_Koh in Margala Hills overlooking Islamabad. It could be a world-class destination. Currently, the park is in a bad shape.”

“This is purely just a concept for Damanekoh in Islamabad, Pakistan, and not a project. An idea and nothing more than that. If this ever gets done it will be the most environmental friendly project anywhere in the world.”
