Whatsapp has again started working on multi-device support with version 2.0.

The social media platform, Whatsapp, will soon allow users to add iPad as a linked device, WABetainfo tweeted.

A multi-device setup can only have one main device and four secondary devices.

Whatsapp is also working on adding support for Andriod tablets to multi-device support on Android. However, that work is still under development and will be made available in the near future.

In the past when multi-device support was announced for the first time, users were worried that the support for Whatsapp Web will come to an end. To this, the company replied that the Web version is also an essential part of the users, so it will not be stopped.

To date, users can only access the account on only one device.

The company has also introduced several new features to the app.

One of the features that are related to privacy is ‘View Once‘. When a sender sends the media with this feature enabled, the recipient can only view it once, and after that, it will be automatically deleted.
