Brad Pitt has petitioned the California Supreme Court for a review of his ongoing custody battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

The Hollywood star’s petition came after Judge John Ouderkirk was disqualified from the custody case in an opinion submitted by three appellate judges.

The petition claims that disqualifying Ouderkirk “effectively upended California’s constitutionally authorised temporary judicial system.”

Pitt, star of ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,’ has challenged a ruling that gave Angelina Jolie a significant victory in her custody battle.

Brad Pitt is appealing a California appellate court’s decision last month to disqualify the private judge he and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie appointed more than four years ago to oversee their divorce and contentious custody battle.
