Pakistan squad for the upcoming T20I series with new Zealand, England, and ICC T20 World Cup will be announced on September 6, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Sunday.

The squad will be announced by chief selector Muhammad Wasim at the Gaddafi Stadium on Monday.

The announced squad will go up against New Zealand at home in the T20I series. Later they will go against England in two-match T20I series.

The national squad will play five T20Is against New Zealand which are scheduled at Gaddafi Stadium from September 25 to October 3. Two T20Is against England are scheduled on October 13, 14.

Pakistan will begin its T20 World Cup journey against their arch-rivals India on October 24 at Dubai International Stadium. The Green Shirts will play against New Zealand, Afghanistan, and the remaining two qualified teams in group stage matches.

According to International Cricket Council (ICC)’s rules, all the teams can submit their final squad for the tournament by September 10.
