Two young women gang-raped at the factory in Lahore: police

Two young women have been gang-raped by three men at the factory in Gujjarpura, citing police officials, on Wednesday.

According to the police said the three suspects raped the women at a factory that makes chairs in Karol Khatti and then escaped.

The factory is located is near the motorway.

The two young women victims were abducted from Shahdara and brought to Gujjarpura, following this incident police has detained the factory owner.

The increased cases of rape reported in Lahore have called into question the performance of the Punjab police.

Whereas, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar took notice of the gang rapes within the limits of the Gujjarpura police station and sought a report from the Lahore CCPO.

He gave orders for the instant detention of the accused intricated in the rape case

“Justice should be provided to the girls who are the target of rape in any case,” CM Buzdar said, further adding that providing justice to the victims is the government’s obligation.
