TEHRAN – Iran has raised concerns about Israel’s rising threats and “adventurism” against Tehran’s nuclear program, state TV reported on Thursday.

In a letter to the UN Security Council, Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations Majid Takht Ravanchi warned that Israel’s “provocative and adventurous” threats have steadily increased over the past months and reached an alarming level.

These threats are a violation of international law, Takht Ravanchi wrote in the letter submitted on Wednesday.

Earlier this month, Israeli military chief Aviv Kochavi said that his country is in preparations against the Iranian nuclear program. “The operational plans against Iran’s nuclear program will continue to evolve and improve,” he added.
