According to the reports, Microsoft’s LinkedIn is all set to exit China this year. Due to the recent censorship pressure in the country, Microsoft’s LinkedIn is leaving the Chinese market by the end of 2021.

The order came after the company blocked some of the famous Chinese journalists’ profiles on the job finding app. In order to comply with the orders by local regulators, the app declared its removal immediately.

However, it is also announced that a new application by the name In-Jobs will be introduced in China to serve the same purpose as LinkedIn, later this year.

“We’re facing a significantly more challenging operating environment and greater compliance requirements in China”, says Vice President LinkedIn in a blog post.

Many applications have been taken down during this quarter of the year in China, including ‘Quran Majeed’ and ‘Olive Tree’s Bible’, the holy book applications for Muslims and Christians.
