Nambia on September 10 announced their 15-man ICC T20 World Cup squad 2021. This will be the first time Nambia is appearing in the T20 World Cup tournament.

Former South African international David Wiese has been selected for the upcoming mega event. The team will be led by Gerhard Erasmus.

David Weise has played six ODIs and 20 T20Is since 2016. He also has experience in several domestic leagues.

Nambia has played its first warm-up match against Oman and lost by 32 runs. It will play its second warm-up match against Scotland on October 14.

Nambia will open its campaign against Sri Lanka in Group A on October 19.
