Oman has announced its 15-man ICC T20 world Cup squad 2021 on September 8. They are also the co-host for the mega event.

The team will be led by the veteran Zeeshan Maqsood, and the team features core players who helped Oman excel in the World Cup Qualifiers two years ago.

Ayaan Khan, Nester Dhamba, Khurram Khan, and Sufyan Mehmood have been called up to the World Cup squad, replacing spinners Jay Odedra and Aamir Kaleem, who played in the successful qualifying campaign.

Oman will start its tournament against Papua New Guinea on October 17.

They are placed in Group B of Round One with Bangladesh, Papua New Guinea, and Scotland.

Oman has not added any reserves to their squad.
