A kitten with four ears has found its forever home, and the news has gone viral on social media. Midas, a four-month-old Russian blue mix cat, was adopted by a Turkish woman.

According to Midas’s owner, “She is a very playful cat. But very friendly as well.”

She added, “She sleeps all day and is awake all night.”

Midas, the four-eared kitten, has become an Instagram sensation. We can see an extra set of little ears inside its major ears in photographs uploaded on its Instagram account.

According to a study by LAD Bible, the abnormality is likely caused by a recessive gene mutation passed down from its parents.

The cat was adopted by a lady called Canis Dosemeci and her spouse, according to the media.

Before bringing Midas home, the woman had already established herself as a pet parent. We frequently see a lovely dog named Suzy interacting with the newcomer on Midas’ Instagram page.

To our surprise, the two creatures appear to enjoy one other’s company. Midas gives a 12-year-old Suzy, a goodnight kiss in this photo.

Midas’ four ears aren’t the only unique features on her body. The cat also has an adorable white heart-shaped mark on its belly.

Here’s a video where we see the mark as its owner gives it a good belly rub.

Ms. Dosemeci said that the kitten’s four ears do not impact its hearing.

Added, “She sleeps all day and is awake all night.”

It’s not a new concept to raise awareness about cats and provide them with a safe haven.

In India, citizens have begun to take action. In 2017, a guy from Kutch founded the Cat Garden. The area now shelters over 200 cats, four years later. This cat sanctuary was named after the late founder’s sister.

Currently, the cat house’s maintenance costs are covered by 90% of the owner’s and his wife’s income, which amounts to 1.5 lakhs per month.
