Bilal Abbas Khan returns to the silver screen after a successful television career.

The “Thora Jee Le” star sat down for an interview with local news, sharing his experiences and plans for the future in the industry.

The actor made his silver screen debut in 2017 with the film “Thora Jee Le,” but it underperformed at the box office, prompting him to pursue TV roles instead.

When asked if the initial instability in the film industry carried over into fear while working on ‘Khel Khel Mein’ five years later, Bilal responded, “I wasn’t afraid. In fact, it inspired me to do a far better job with my second film, considering the poor response to my first film. That response was the reason I switched towards television, and once the audience accepted me through my TV roles, I decided it was time to do a film again.”

“People in Pakistan watch TV a lot more than films,” he continued.

While explaining that he’s never satisfied with his performances and that he is his own critique, the actor further stated: “I actually found the role I portrayed in the film easier to play than the ones I’ve played on TV. Maybe this is due to the character’s simplicity. On television, I’ve always only focused on challenging roles. I’d have to do a bit more preparation for them. I was scared that too much preparation might damage my character in Khel Khel Mein, because I wanted the character’s rawness to shine through. “
