LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that all possible facilities will be provided to the farmers for sowing wheat.

According to official sources, the chief minister said that any increase in the prices of fertilisers, especially DAP, would not be tolerated.

The Punjab government had always protected the rights of the farmers and would keep doing so in the future, as well, he said.

Action is being taken against those creating artificial price hikes of fertilisers, the chief minister said, adding that necessary administrative steps had been taken to ensure the availability of fertilisers at fixed rates.
