FIA on the hunt for fake dealers of Porsche

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has launched a manhunt for the alleged fake dealers of a renowned German company Porsche.

According to an FIA official, the accused have been identified as Abuzar Bukhari and his wife Noorain Khalid who were running the fake dealership of the German company Porsche.

He said Lahore Police have also registered cases against them for fraud and cheating and for minting millions of rupees from innocent people.

To a question, FIA official said, there was no dealership of the Porsche company in Pakistan.

He further said the State Bank of Pakistan has already reported a Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) against the accused persons.

Moreover, he said, FIA has managed to get seized all the banks accounts of the accused and they would be arrested soon.

To another question, the FIA official said the main accused Abuzar Bukhari has fled from the country whereas efforts were under way to arrest his wife at the earliest.
