KARACHI: Gold price further decreased on Tuesday as the rupee continued to recover for the second following day.

The price went down by Rs1, 800 per tola to Rs121, 600 and plunged by Rs1, 544 per 10 grams to Rs104, 252 equated to yesterday’s price.

Gold prices clocked in at Rs123, 400 per tola, and Rs105, 796 per 10 grams on Monday, claimed All Sindh Sarafa Association.

The association regulates local prices constructed on rupee-dollar equivalence and international rates.

The local prices of gold usually decrease on the rupee’s strengthening against the US dollar and increasing prices of merchandise in the international market.
