Shakib, Mushfiqur called back to Test squad against Pakistan

All-rounder Shakib-al-Hasan and batsman Mushfiqur Rahim will join the Bangladesh test squad for the two-match series against the visitors Pakistan starting November 26 in Chittagong.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will announce the Test squad today.

Shakib-al-Hasan, who was on a family vacation in the US, will return to Bangladesh today.

Mushfiqur Rahim was not a part of the T20I series after a poor performance in the ICC T20 world. While talking to a news channel, he said that he had informed the board about his availability for the series, but the board did not consider him for the T20I series.

Pakistan squad has arrived in Dhaka and will join other members after their quarantine period.

The two sides will lock horn in the first Test match of the two-match series in Chittagong starting from November 26.

Babar Azam (captain), Mohammad Rizwan (vice-captain), Abdullah Shafique, Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Bilal Asif, Faheem Ashraf, Fawad Alam, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Nauman Ali, Sajid Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Saud Shakeel, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Zahid Mahmood.
