KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has inaugurated the UAE Visa Centre in Karachi.

UAE Culture, Youth and Social Development Minister Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Consul General Dr Salem Al-Khaddeim Al-Dhanhani were also present on this occasion.

Governor Imran Ismail said that during the last few years Pakistan and the UAE have laid the foundation of strong bilateral relations and it can be proved by the economic support offered by the UAE to Pakistan.

He said that by organising the Expo 2020 Dubai, the UAE has not only played a key role in creating harmony but also promoted partnership among various countries of the world.

The Sindh governor said due to the Expo 2020 Dubai, Pakistan and the UAE have further come closer to each other and the two countries resolve to improve their bilateral relations in the fields of trade, investment, energy, agriculture and other sectors.

Governor Ismail thanked Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan for the initiative and also congratulated the people of both the countries.

On the occasion, Sheikh Nahyan said: “We are working on various sectors to improve our bilateral relations with the focus on resolving all the problems.”

UAE Consul General in Karachi Dr Salem Al-Khaddeim Al-Dhanhani said that the biggest visa centre in Asia will provide all facilities to the citizens.
