Manchester United has approached Zinedine Zidane about taking over as manager, but according to sources close to the former Real Madrid manager, he is not interested in going to Old Trafford at this time.

United fired Ole Gunnar Soskjaer on Sunday following a 4-1 loss to Watford on Saturday.

Zidane’s second stint as a Real manager came to an end in May of this year.

From 2016 to 2018, he led the club to three back-to-back Champions League titles.

He left in 2018 and returned the following year, winning La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup in 2020.

According to the same reports, renowned former France and Real midfielder Zinedine Zidane, who is currently unemployed, would not be interested in a move to United at this time.

He’s been affiliated with the French national team and Paris St-Germain, and he’d prefer to pursue those possibilities if and when they become available.

Mauricio Pochettino, who has been mentioned as a potential United manager, is now the manager of PSG, who has great faith in him and made no movements to replace him with Zidane.
