India’s COVID-19 tally rises to 34,606,541

NEW DELHI, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) — India’s COVID-19 tally rose to 34,606,541 on Thursday, as 9,765 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours across the country, the federal health ministry’s latest data showed.

Besides, 477 deaths from the pandemic since Wednesday morning took the total death toll to 469,724. There are still 99,763 active COVID-19 cases in the country as there was a rise of 740 active cases during the past 24 hours.

A total of 34,037,054 people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals, out of whom 8,548 were discharged during the past 24 hours.
