The “Make in Pakistan” philosophy is aiming to make Pakistan a self-sufficient country, which would ultimately lead to lesser imports and increased exports.

Earlier this month, the Smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi Inc from Beijing, revealed its plans to set up factories to manufacture smartphones in Pakistan in partnership with a local distributor, Air Link Communication Limited.
