PBTE, Tang Corporation explore new avenues of cooperation

Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore (PBTE) and Tang Corporation for International Education and Technology explore new avenues of cooperation for assessment and certification of the DAE-Dual diploma joint education programme during a meeting between the PBTE team and Executive director and President Tang International, Max Ma.

PBTE team comprised Dr. Muhammad Naazir Khan Niazi, Chairman, Muhammad Adnan, Secretary, Munawar Hussain, Controller of Examinations, Amanullah Ch. Senior Research Officer, Muhammad Hafeez Deputy Secretary, Shaukat Ali Rana, Deputy COE, and Fatima Iqbal, System Analyst.

Under the programme, the selected students shall get education and training for the first two years in TEVTA institutions. The third-year training and assessment shall be done in selected institutions in China with the support of Tang Corporation. To start with, two advanced courses, such as Diploma in Software Engineering and Advanced Construction Technology Specialization in Road and Bridge Technology, were finalised.

Muhammad Naazir Khan Niazi, Chairman PBTE, appreciated the initiative taken by the Chinese corporation and assured that PBTE should leave no stone unturned in making the program a success by effectively assessing and certifying the students for first and second-year education. Niazi also expressed hope that the dual diploma programme shall adore the youth with state-of-the-art skills and go a long way in providing a highly skilled workforce for CPEC projects.
