Former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has been issued passport

Former Finance Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ishaq Dar has been issued passport, reported Bol News.

As per sources privy to the matter, the passport has been issued in Islamabad which the former finance minister will receive in London.

Whereas, Dar has also confirmed the issuance of his passport by saying that he was informed by the authorities in Pakistan in this regard.

The former minister has been residing in London for the past four years and is a nominee in multiple cases.

While talking to the media, Ishaq Dar maintained that he never paid his tax returns late and claimed that he has been fixed in the case.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the interior ministry to issue diplomatic passports to PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and leader Ishaq Dar.

However, the ministry rejected saying that a diplomatic passport could not be issued for the former finance minister.
