PM Imran says his life is under threat

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that there is a threat to his life, adding that he has no care for it and he would continue his struggle against corrupt politicians.

He said this while giving an interview aired on a local private TV channel on Friday.

He further said that he could sacrifice not only his government but also his life.

He said that it would be better if we went to new elections rather than ruling the country with corrupt people.

He maintained that people had recognized these traitors, who were buying loyalties of parliamentarians to come to power and plunder the country again.

Earlier, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said on Friday that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s security has been beefed after the security agencies reported a plot to assassinate the prime minister.

Chaudhry Fawad said using his Twitter handle, the government has taken this decision in the light of these reports.
