“Mariupol is destroyed, tens of thousands of people are dead,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared Monday, “yet Russians are still continuing the military operation.”

While speaking to South Korean MPs, Zelenskyy made the comment.

According to Reuters, he reportedly stated, “Ukraine needs diverse military technologies ranging from aeroplanes to tanks.” “South Korea may be able to assist us.”

Mariupol officials have estimated that 5,000 residents have been murdered, but cautioned last week that the death toll might be in the tens of thousands due to the city’s destruction.

Last Monday, the Mariupol City Council accused Russian soldiers of using a mobile cremation to conceal their alleged war crimes in the city.
