Amber Heard claimed she wasn’t surprised by last-minute messages in support of Johnny Depp from Kate Moss and a hotel manager, explaining that’s the sort of power he wields. Heard made the statement in her final moments on the evidence on Thursday, as her defamation trial with ex-husband Depp concluded.

Depp filed a lawsuit against Heard, accusing her of damaging his career by hinting in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that she had been the victim of domestic violence and that Heard was the genuine abuser in their relationship.

Heard countersued and testified for many days, detailing several incidents in which she claimed Depp sexually and physically attacked her during their relationship. However, on Wednesday, Depp’s defence team put two last-minute witnesses to the stand to counter incidents recounted by Heard in her testimony.

Moss, Depp’s ex-girlfriend, refuted a Heard story that Depp threw her down a flight of stairs while they were together in the 1990s. Moss stated that she tripped and that Depp helped her.

A hotel manager reportedly questioned Heard’s story of a quarrel in which she said Depp grew upset when another lady touched her, according to PEOPLE. According to the manager, Heard started an altercation with Depp, and Depp “cowered” in response.

However, Heard claimed she wasn’t shocked by these testimonies since she’d seen firsthand how individuals can go to great lengths to win favor with her ex-husband, a prominent guy.

Heard said, “I know how many people will come out of the woodwork to be in support of Johnny … I know how many people will come out and say whatever for him, that’s his power,” Meanwhile, Heard said that Moss’s denial of the stairs rumor made no difference to her.
