Arrests were made in the Dallas concert shooting that left one dead and 16 wounded.

Two men have been detained and accused in connection with a fatal shooting at a Dallas music venue in April, which also injured 16 people. AstonialCalhoun, 25, and Devojiea Givens, 26, were apprehended Wednesday with the help of the North Texas Fugitive Task Force and the ATF Violent Crimes Task Force and charged with felony lethal conduct, according to the Dallas Police Department.

The allegations come from a gunshot on Cleveland Road on April 2nd, which occurred during an outdoor celebration and festival attended by hundreds of people. Kealon Gilmore, 26, was fatally shot. He was discovered near the stage with a gunshot wound to the head and died at the scene, according to authorities. In addition, 16 persons ranging in age from 13 to 29 were hurt at the event.

“You know, I breathed a sigh of relief [Thursday] morning. I’m delighted they were apprehended “Lorenzo Anderson, the father of injured victim Jazmin Anderson, who was shot in the head but survived. “I haven’t seen the images or know their faces or anything, and I was saying to my wife a week ago if I could just put a face, you know, to somebody would do something like this,” Lorenzo Anderson, Anderson’s father, said.

According to investigators, a brawl broke out during the event, and both Calhoun and Givens discharged pistols into the crowd. Authorities are looking for additional individuals who discharged guns as well as others who were involved in the brawl soon before the incident.

There is no bond issued for any suspect.
