Blazing Sherani forests, fire hasn’t been snuffed out yet

QUETTA: A Fire that erupted in Balochistan’s Sherani district forests has not been snuffed out yet and has been ragging for the last 11 days.

As per details, the fire has engulfed the forests in the district and the NDM and PDM teams have been putting their efforts to put it out.

It has been reported that the fire could cause serious damage to the Pine Nut forests in Balochistan.

Deputy Speaker Balochistan Assembly Babar Mosa has taken notice of the incident and said that the government has been striving hard to control the situation.

“The government is taking all possible steps to control the fire, Deputy Speaker said.

“Forests are the beauty of the region. Protection of forests is our responsibility”, he added.

He also expressed grave concerns over the tragic incident and said that the administration has been busy controlling the fire.
