China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said on Thursday that the nation will make all measures to stabilise foreign trade companies’ industrial and supply chains.

Logistics performance is progressively increasing across the country, and China will secure the seamless transit of foreign trade products across the country, according to MOC spokeswoman Gao Feng during a press conference.

“We will quickly solve the challenges confronting foreign trade firms and assist foreign trade enterprises hit by the epidemic in resuming full-capacity production,” Gao added.

China will strengthen communication and coordination with countries along international freight train routes to improve customs clearance procedures and operational efficiency, as well as tap into the potential of air cargo to ensure the smooth transportation of critical parts, equipment, and products, according to Gao.

China will also continue to improve its business climate, as well as trade liberalisation and facilitation, in order to encourage the development of its overseas commerce, according to Gao.
