Civil unrest in Sri Lanka prompts match changes for Australia tour

The current dispute in Sri Lanka has caused modifications to Australia’s white-ball matches on their upcoming visit.

Whiteball series matches between Sri Lanka and Australia have been rescheduled.

According to the Australian media, the timing of white-ball matches in Sri Lanka has been changed due to the situation in Sri Lanka.

In this regard, the Australian media further said that the matches from June 7 to June 24 will now be in the light of day, and Sri Lanka Cricket will officially announce the day matches soon.

It may be recalled that some players of the Australian cricket team had expressed concerns over the situation in Sri Lanka yesterday.

Australia is scheduled to play 3 T20 and 5 ODI matches in Sri Lanka next month.
