Covid crises in Taiwan

Taiwan’s disease monitoring office said Saturday that there were 46,377 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and 11 new fatalities from the illness on Friday.

According to the organisation, seven male and four female patients died, all of them were in critical condition and had chronic ailments.

According to the FDA, another 159 imported cases were recently recorded in the region.
According to the island’s education authorities, more than 31,000 local kids had been sick as of Friday, and 1,958 schools across the region had cancelled classes.

Taiwan has recorded 314,983 verified COVID-19 cases to this far. Local infections accounted for 303,118 of these.
