According to local sources, the family of missing Texas child Lina Sardar Khil is being pursued and tormented with conspiracy theories during public search parties.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety and the San Antonio Police Department, Khil was taken in December when she was three years old while visiting a playground with her mother in the 9400 block of Fredericksburg Road. According to KENS-TV, Pam Allen, CEO of Eagles Flight Advocacy and Outreach, pays weekly visits to Khil’s parents.

“We have individuals tracking us who go on these searches, record us, take photographs of us, and fabricate stuff,” Allen told the publication, explaining why Riaz and Zarmeena Sardar Khil are no longer holding volunteer search parties. “We just don’t want to do those kinds of searches anymore.”

Lina’s parents are being blamed by “keyboard warriors” online, according to Allen.

“Things were directed at them because they were Afghani and Muslims. That’s rather severe, “Allen clarified. “When we were in Afghanistan, [Riaz] aided our armed troops. We brought him here to ensure the safety of his family. Then something occurs.”

“Life should always be celebrated,” Allen told KENS-TV, “but it’s just so hard for them to enjoy anything when Lina is absent.”

Through a translator, Khil previously told the publication that his wife was supervising their kid on the playground when she wandered off and vanished down a nearby trail. Lina stands around 4 feet tall and weighs 55 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red dress, a black jacket, and black shoes.
