Citing Faisal Malik, his management company said that the Luton-born fighter predicted that he would become the first British Asian champion of the Cage Warriors as well as the ‘Ultimate Fighting Championship‘ (UFC). ) Will also win.
Faisal Malik has an unblemished, brilliant professional record and has won each of his five fights in one minute, five seconds.
Faisal Malik says to be a world champion would be an amazing, incredible achievement and a dream especially since I would be the first Asian British to do so and if nothing else it would at least prove that I myself Trust me but I don’t want to think too far ahead, I just have to keep winning, make noise with my victory and that’s all I have to do to become a historic world champion.
Talking about his upcoming fight with John Segas, Faisal Malik added that he would knock out the Frenchman in the first round or two.
“People watching my Cage Warriors debut will see another victory for me with a very one-sided performance,” he added.
“I’ve been watching John Segas for the last few years, and from what I’ve seen, he’s a tough opponent and a good fighter, but his ability is not enough to cause me any problems, and I offer I guess I’ll beat him.
Faisal Malik further said that I will win with this, I will defeat him in the first or second round. Those who are watching my Cage Warriors debut match will see my victory in a very one-sided contest.
Faisal Malik trained in boxing until the age of 15 and at the age of 16, he started learning the Brazilian ‘Geo Jitsu’, which helped a 5 foot 8-inch young man gain weight from 110 kg in his teens to his current fighting weight of 61 kg. Helped bring in and prevented them from participating in street fights.
“My older brother and some friends used to say, ‘Why to waste your time on the road when you can put your energy into a game?’
“When my brother saw a place for training in MMA, I went there. I felt I needed to learn it. When I was about 22, I became a professional athlete,” he said. My whole life is dedicated to mixed martial arts because it’s not a joke.
Apart from Khabeeb, Faisal Malik’s grandfather was another role model for the young man.
Faisal Malik says his grandfather used to wrestle in the Kashmir area of Pakistan, it has always been a stimulus for me, I still believe it has to do with our genes, he was a champion I always liked that I grew up listening to stories that impressed me.
Like Khabeeb, Faisal Malik’s faith and his legacy are central to his current personality.
“Everything in life happens for a reason. I am thankful that I came from the road. I am in the gym now and I believe it is a blessing from Allah,” he said.
Faisal Malik is a social service-minded person, he has planned to open a gym in Luton and offer free training to backward youth for admission in MMA.
He says that MMA is a brand new sport, there is no gym in the area I belong to, I have 7 coaches for different fields, I want to bring all the facilities here in this area so that children can learn different things. Don’t have to go to other parts of the country.
Prior to Cage Warriors’ debut, Faisal Malik’s goal is to show young people that anything is possible.
“I was overweight, I was on the road and now I am a professional fighter, and insha’Allah I am going to join UFC,” he said.
“I want to help children and adults with mental illness. I believe that physical fitness is the first medicine,” he said.
“My goal in building a gym is to train more advanced fighters. I’m talking about the UFC World Champion. I want to show that if I can do that, other youngsters can do the same,” he said. And in this regard, I will do my best to help them.
