Hina Khan is one of the most well-known performers in Bollywood. Her debut programme Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai catapulted her to popularity, and her part as ‘Akshara’ is still fresh in fans’ memories.
I&B Minister Anurag Thakur and numerous famous celebrities, including Deepika Padukone, Pooja Hegde, Tamannaah Bhatia, vocalist Mame Khan, and others, recently launched the India Pavilion at Cannes 2022. Hina Khan, however, was not invited to the occasion. She recently discussed it in an interview with Film Companion, expressing her disappointment.

“We all work in the same business, and we’ve all come here to promote India,” she explained. The release of my film’s poster excites me tremendously. I was quite excited since everyone knew I was coming to launch my poster, and I am from the Indian pavilion.” She went on to say that there is still an elitist structure in place. “There was an opening ceremony and an event in the Indian pavilion, where everyone was there, not just from Bollywood but also singers.” “I am proud of them, but it is also disheartening since I was not present,” Hina remarked.

She went on to say that she might have been among the audience, cheering them on.“They were doing ghoomar.I saw that video and I am proud of my country. I don’t blame the celebrities. I feel it’s the people on the field who act.” She ended by suggesting that she might be a part of it next year.

Hina Khan will visit the festival for the poster launch of her upcoming Indo-English film, Country of Blind, according to Pinkvilla. With her entrance at the grand event, the actress has already won hearts.
