Imran Nazir was a notable Pakistani batsman who came into the game in the late 1990s. His courageous batting as an opener helped him become a valuable member of the national cricket squad and a household name. Many corporations used to engage him for sponsorships, but his cricket career ended prematurely.

Recently, the famed cricketer went on the show Hansna Mana Hai and stated that he was previously poisoned by someone, which had disastrous consequences for his physical condition. Imran Nazir stated that he became bedridden and was unable to move his legs or body. He stated that it was the worst period of his life. His body was weak, and it was at that point that his life partner proved herself to be a savior and stood by him.

He went on to say that Shahid Afridi and Razzaq were his strongest supporters during his trying times when no one enquired about him.
