As his broken widow continues her hunt for answers, the prize for information leading to an arrest in the perplexing murder of a married Florida father will be boosted to $55,000 on Monday. After dropping off two twins from his previous marriage at his ex-home wife’s in Jacksonville Beach on February 16, Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan, 33, was shot dead in front of his young daughter.

Bridegan was returning home with his 2-year-old daughter Bexley when he came upon a tire in the middle of the road. Bridegan was shot and killed as he got out of his car at 7:30 p.m. with his toddler still fastened in her car seat. After the killer went, the scared toddler remained alone for around three minutes until being rescued by a stranger. During the crime, Bridegan’s wife, Kirsten Bridegan, was at home with the couple’s second kid, London.

The Jacksonville Beach Police Department has not named any suspects in the case, but it has issued a photo of a dark blue Ford F-150 vehicle and asked for the public’s assistance in locating it. According to Fox News Digital, the prize in the case will be increased from $30,000 to $55,000 on Monday. Sgt. Tonya Tator of the Jacksonville Beach Police Department could not be reached for comment right away. Kirsten Bridegan was unavailable for comment.

Kirsten Bridegan has been trying to put her life back together after her spouse died unexpectedly. Last month, friends and allies of the Bridegans organized a vigil to demand justice in the case. At the Jacksonville Beach event, Kirsten Bridegan remarked, “This community is powerful, we are strong, and God is the strongest of all, and he will not stand by.”

The vigil was without Jared Bridegan’s ex-wife and twins. Despite being invited, the twins did not attend his burial. The horrible murder of a young father in a posh Florida neighborhood has shaken his community, and calls for a resolution have grown stronger with each passing month.
