Merub Ali began as a social media influencer on Instagram. She began working at a young age after being cast in a music video. She later worked as an influencer before becoming famous for plays such as Sinf e Aahan and Paristan. In both plays, her performances were praised.

She is also engaged to popstar Asim Azhar, and their relationship has a large fan base who enjoy watching them together. Merub announced their engagement with a lovely and simple photo of the two of them.

Merub admitted in a podcast with Mooroo, her co-star in Paristan, that she had a difficult time in late 2020 and early 2021. She began to lose a lot of weight and was ridiculed as a result of it. Merub said she couldn’t eat anything and would videotape herself eating and email it to her closest pals to reassure them that she was taking care of herself. She, on the other hand, resolved to get back on track and gradually rebuilt herself.
