If you want to see a rare moment this weekend, look at the sky where the two brightest planets will look as if they are about to collide.

According to the astronomical website EarthSky, Venus will appear at its closest position south of Jupiter, at 0.2 degrees, which is less than the diameter of the full moon.

These planets will actually be millions of miles away at this point, but they will look as if they are about to collide with each other.

Experts say people who wake up early in the morning can see this rare sight in the northern hemisphere between sunrise on April 30 and May 1 at sunrise.

The planets will be in the closest position at 8pm on Saturday night, according to UK Standard Time, before the two planets meet again the next day.

According to another astronomy website, Space, the two planets appeared at close distances after August 2016, when the scene is expected to reappear in March 2023.

Lucy Green, a professor of physics at University College London and chief star of the Society for Popular Astronomy, told the BBC: We have a great opportunity to see this scene. ”

Scientists suggest finding a high place and looking closely at two bright planets in the sky near the horizon.

He said that the brightness of these planets will be different.

“Venus is brighter than Jupiter, so when you look at it, it will look amazingly brighter. Jupiter’s luminosity will be slightly dull, about six times less than Venus’s.
