In the midst of the Ukraine crisis, Russian official media projected a horrifying simulated nuclear attack on Europe. The broadcast stated that there would be “no survivors.” According to the show, nuclear strikes in Berlin, Paris, and London could occur in minutes.

To return to the UK Armed Forces’ statements, anchors on Channel One’s 60 Minutes cautioned that nuclear bombs could target European capitals in less than four minutes. The terrifying assertions about Russia’s nuclear weapons were made on one of the country’s most popular television shows. “One Sarmat (missile) and that’s it – the British Isles are no more,” the show’s hosts warned.

One of the hostesses, Skabeyeva, stated that the United Kingdom also possessed nuclear weapons. “No one will survive this war,” she added. It displayed a diagram of how the missiles might be launched from Kaliningrad. Between Poland, Lithuania, and the Baltic Sea, it is a Russian region. The programme also featured the aftermath of a nuclear attack. It stated that Berlin could be destroyed in 106 seconds, Paris could be destroyed in 200 seconds, and London could be destroyed in 202 seconds. Putin recently directed his troops to perform a Sarmat missile test launch.

Putin also said that the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile is a “really unique weapon.” Furthermore, the Russian military ministry stated that “Sarmat is the most powerful missile with the world’s greatest range of target destruction.” It is capable of evading anti-missile defence systems and carries many warheads. Putin reportedly stated that his country’s hypersonic missiles could “definitely breach all present defences,” and that they would be ready to lay siege to the United Kingdom “by fall.”
