“There was no chemistry between them at first,” he stated of Mahira and Fawad Khan’s chemistry. I couldn’t perceive any connection between the/two, no magic, and I assumed something was wrong; in fact, both performers had distinct performing styles, and I was experiencing technical issues as a director. I could catch a glimmer of the magic between them, but the genuine chemistry was lacking. Somehow, the true chemistry came out on the screen as I was editing the drama, and it was magnificent.”
