Since its publication on Monday, the Supreme Court’s leaked draught judgement, which would overturn the famous Roe v Wade 1973 decision that preserves a Mississippi woman’s right to abortion, has sparked outrage around the country.

Thousands of Coloradans flocked to the event on Tuesday afternoon and lingered until late in the evening. According to a news channel, it was the largest gathering in Colorado’s capitol since the Black Lives Matter rally in 2020.

Despite the expected result, the Center for Reproductive Rights’ database shows that 22 states and the District of Columbia safeguard abortion access through state constitutions, legislation, or court rulings.
