Dashing’s surrender issues have gone on after two races on Lingfield’s Monday level card didn’t go on following ground well being worries on the last curve.

In the initial race of the evening, Cu Chulainn, ridden by William Buick, slipped while taking the last twist prior to being facilitated in the last two furlongs, completing last of the seven sprinters.

This prompted an investigation of the surface on the last curve, with racers and stewards choosing to leave the two competitions to be run on the round track.

The last four races, all on the straight course, were permitted to go on at the Surrey scene.

Martin Cruddace, CEO of Arena Racing Company, affirmed later in the early evening that the British Horseracing Authority wouldn’t permit the races deserted to be moved to the all-weather conditions surface at Lingfield.
