Ukraine's military have crossed the Russian border near Kharkiv says governor

According to the regional governor, Ukraine troops counter-attacking near Kharkiv have reached the Russian border. Troops have reinstalled a Ukrainian sign marking the boundary, while video claimed to show soldiers at the border.

In recent days, Ukrainian forces have been retaking ground in north-eastern districts as Russian forces intensify their attention on the Donbas region.

Meanwhile, Sweden’s parliament is considering the government’s plan to request for membership in NATO.

After Sweden and Finland expressed interest in joining Nato, Russia warned that doing so would be a “grave mistake.”

Estonia and Latvia are hosting some of the largest NATO military drills ever held in the Baltics.

McDonald’s and Renault are the latest foreign brands to announce that they will no longer conduct business in Russia due to the conflict.
