According to law enforcement officials, the armed California man apprehended near Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh Maryland residence on Wednesday morning has been named Nicholas John Roske.

Roske, of Simi Valley, California, was detained with a revolver, knife, and pepper spray and had made violent threats against Kavanaugh. Roske was apprehended on a nearby street after dialing 911 to report himself.

He told that he wanted to “give his life meaning,” so he bought the gun and other stuff with the intention of killing Kavanaugh and then himself.

Roske told that he doing all this because he was upset about the leak of a recent Supreme Court draft decision. He believed Kavanaugh would side with Second Amendment decisions that would loosen gun control laws.

Soon later, the Montgomery County Emergency Communication Center received a call from Roske. He said he “was having suicidal thoughts and had a handgun in his bag.”

“I want to warn you, [Justice] Gorsuch, I want to tell you Kavanaugh: You have unleashed the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you continue with these terrible judgments

Chief Justice Roberts issued a rare rebuke to Schumer in response to his remarks: “Justices understand that criticism is unavoidable, but threatening utterances from the highest levels of government are not only wrong but also dangerous.
