On Thursday, the chief prosecutor in Loudoun County, Virginia, received a bar complaint after a circuit court judge barred her office from criminal prosecution for “deliberately deceiving the Court and the public.”

Biberaj’s office offered Valle a six-month plea agreement, but Plowman said prosecutor Michele Burton offered the deal by downplaying Valle’s past criminal history and not adding further burglary accusations against him.

Kennedy stated that Biberaj’s “ad hominem assaults against private individuals are worrisome but expected.”

“She continues to mislead the public and escape any responsibility for her conduct,” Kennedy added. “Biberaj’s acts plainly violate her professional ethics and are a significant breach of public trust.
