A guy was shot and died while exiting a recording studio in Queens Newyork city early Monday morning.

The Newyork City Police Department responded to a 911 call regarding a person shot in Ridgewood, Queens, shortly before 1:30 a.m., according to the NYPD. They discovered an unnamed 21-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head when they arrived.

He was pronounced deceased by emergency personnel that arrived on the site. There was no weapon recovered, and no arrests were made.

According to witnesses, a succession of gunshots was heard at the moment.

“We were just getting out of the subway when we heard six shots,  Another person stated that the surrounding area had gotten hazardous.
